This blog contains descriptions of project I designed and worked out over the years.

Why

The purpose of this blog is twofold:
First of to create one central repository of my projects so I can always look back at a project and learn from previous ideas/mistakes.
Second to allow other electronics enthusiasts to learn, get ideas or give thoughts about the projects.

Who

I, Jo Van Ranst, am a Electronics Master with a passion for embedded electronics designs.

My interests in electronics and electrical equipment where noticed early on and so I started my studies in the second grade of the secondary education at the age of 14. Having the luck that the teachers where themselves truthfully engaged in electronics, not just as an academic course, but as a creative, engaging and practical process meant that my interest could grow into a full passion.

Getting the opportunity for practical excesses and having the necessary tools on hand allowed me to create my first circuit board at the age of 15.
